Dear Allen,
I read your article last night and it brought tears to my eyes. I had to bring in the article for my co-workers to read. We are all blown away by this story.
 
In fact, I am going to share it at my Christmas dinner this year to let my family know how grateful we all are. There are people out there with worse problems than we have. It also goes to show you "you can't judge a book by its cover" and "you can't judge people by the way they look." You never know what's going on in people's lives, so do not be so quick to judge.

I always look forward to your stories in The Suburbanite. I enjoy reading them. It is a great FREE publication that comes out. I wish you continued success and a blessed holiday with your family and friends.

Hello Allen,
After reading your story, "It Changed My Life Forever," I read it to my husband, and we both decided to share it with our 3 out-of-town daughters. The story sure makes any difficulties we have at times look so small. We are lucky and fortunate, we're not in line for the final picture.

Allen,
I would like to thank you for the article, "It Changed My Life Forever." I also had a situation happen to me the Christmas of 2007. I had been suffering from depression and anxiety when a doctor looked me in the eye and told me my 3 year old (daughter) had cancer and we spent the Christmas of 2007 at CHOP. Her treatment was long and hard, but on August 20, 2008, we became one of the blessed families and were told she had no evidence of disease.

I enjoy each day and try to live in the present and know that no amount of money can buy good health. I would like to share your story on my website www.caringbridge.org./visit/felicia. I feel around Christmas time everyone gets so busy and your story would be the perfect entry to remind people what Christmas is all about.
