What's Cookin'
This month we offer some easy-to-prepare and delicious-to-enjoy smoothies. There can't be anythng more synonymous with summer. Of course when you add some of the season's best fruit, this dreamy, creamy drink really becomes summer-licious.
We suggest you use fresh fruit and not the frozen found in your freezer sections at the supermarket. You can prepare the fruit in advance, clean it and slice it, stick it in the freezer and just pull it out when ready to use. Take advantage of the season's abundance and support the local farmers in our area.
A smoothie is perfect any time of the day. Quick and satisfying it can be not only fun to enjoy but a nutritious addition to what is already a healthy lifestyle.
